Restoring Your Confidence With Flawless Skin
How does Q-switched laser treatment work?
Our Q-Switch Laser treatment works by generating a high-energy laser on the affected area. The laser energy pulse breaks down the pigments into mini-pigments, which is absorbed by the skin, and then destroyed by the body’s lymphatic system.
How many treatments are needed?
Depending on the type of pigmentation, different treatment plans may be recommended. Some pigments can be effectively removed in one or two sessions. whereas some pigments may need several repeated sessions of the laser. our doctor will advise you on how many sessions you will require to achieve your desired skin.
What are the benefits?
The treatment is used to treat freckles, sunspots, acne, and hyperpigmentation. A single treatment can result in the removal of 75-100% of an individual brown spot. On some occasions, a second treatment may be needed to completely treat the affected area.
Some added bonuses of the treatment is the reduction of damage caused by harmful sun exposure, and the increased collagen and elastin levels which maintain both elasticity and firmness in your skin.
Is it safe?
The Q-Switch Laser treatment is FDA approved and clinically proven for the removal of both superficial and deep hyperpigmented lesions. The procedure is 100% safe and comes without side effects.
Is it painful?
You will be surprised how comfortable the 15-minute laser procedure actually is, with it being comparable to a rubber band snapping on your skin. However, you can request using a numbing cream if desired.
Is there any down time?
There is almost no downtime for Q switch laser and you can expect to return to your daily activities and work without interruptions.
Erythema (skin redness) is expected after Q switch laser and this usually fades in a maximum of 1 hour. You can choose to apply makeup after laser
Urticaria (hives) can occur occasionally and this can be reversed with medications.
When can I expect to see results?
You should expect to see results- lightened pigmentation, smaller pores and better pimple control- within 3 to 4 weeks of commencing laser treatment.

What does Q-switch Laser Treat?
In this treatment we use the laser light to eradicate the sebaceous glands and remove bacteria. The Q-switch laser is used to control swelling of the acne, to minimize sebum production, and also to open and minimize pore size. Other uses for this procedure include:
Reducing red blotches after inflammatory acne
Poor skin texture
Epidermal (Outer layer of your skin) Pigmentation such as freckles.
The pigmented area on your skin is destroyed by the Q-switch laser which results in the area turning red. A scab (a dry, rough protective crust that forms over a cut or wound during healing) will form and fall off in a few days. You will then gradually notice your skin improve over the next few weeks.
Dermal (Deeper layer of your skin) Pigmentation such as tattoos and birthmarks.
The pigment in the tattoo is broken down by the intense laser energy into tiny micro fragments that will eventually be eliminated by the body.
